Course # 8 of Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training's Discovering the Total Self Program: an extensive program consisting of 10 modules in psychospiritual development.

Discovering the Total Self: The Emerging Sacred Human is an extensive program designed to balance body, mind and spirit, bringing the individual to a state of personal empowerment through the transformational process. A psychospiritual approach is taken in the course teachings that incorporate a blending of ancient spiritual wisdom, esoteric principles, contemporary psychology and emotional healing.
This program is based on two different paths that must be travelled on simultaneously in our spiritual journey. One is the Path of the Contemporary Mystic. The other is the Path of Emotional Healing. These paths can be paradoxical in nature. The Path of the Contemporary Mystic encourages us to transcend our egos, surrender , go with the flow, trust divine guidance, detach, enter into the mystery and be of service.
The Path of Emotional Healing and Self-Discovery takes us into our self, healing our wounds and developing a healthy sense of ego – getting our needs met, expressing feelings, having a voice and taking charge of our life.
This program teaches the student the art of balancing on both paths on their spiritual journey. It honours that we are both spiritual and human at the same time and that we are really spiritual beings having a human experience – we are 'Sacred Humans'.
In total, 10 course modules in psychospiritual development are offered in the Discovering the Total Self Program. You can complete the program at your own pace, take more than one course at a time or take only those that interest you.
Course includes:
- The many faces of the inner child — from lost child to magical child
- Healing the wounded inner child — the hurt, angry, rebel, fearful and survivor child
- Healing the stages of childhood development — infant, toddler, preschooler, school-aged child and adolescent
- Developing and living from your adult — setting goals, parenting yourself and taking responsibility
- Conscious and unconscious relationships
- Being single by choice
- Higher purpose of relationships
- Male and female within, sexuality and tantra
- The new children — Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children
Length: 1 evening per week for 8 weeks, 7:00 to 9:30 pm unless otherwise noted
Tuition Fee: 0 per course + HST includes all material fees. Early registration is advisable to avoid disappointment. This course is HST exempt if it is part of a professional training program.
Note: Classes cancelled due to inclement winter weather will not be rescheduled in this program; make up classes are available in future rotations.
